Celebrity Feuds
Kathy Griffin Dishes on Rosie

The straw that broke Rosie O'Donnell's "View" back? According to Rosie pal Kathy Griffin, O'Donnell grew incensed when "View" producers chose to sensationalize the recent on-air fight between Ro and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck -- with a split screen graphic. Curiously, Griffin told People, it was the show's technical decision that pushed O'Donnell over the edge. "I said, 'What was it really?'" recalled Griffin. "'The split-screen." She said, 'I don't want to do "Hannity and Colmes."

Griffin, who's filled-in twice for O'Donnell in the past few weeks on "The View," dished about Rosie's reason for leaving to a sold out crowd at Atlantic City's Borgata Hotel and Casino.

Griffin also revealed that O'Donnell's hatred of Hasselbeck might not run so deep. When Rosie heard that Donald Trump had called Hasselbeck "stupid," she expressed sadness. "She doesn't even hate Elisabeth," said Griffin.

167. Such a tornado in a coffee pot! Rosie and Mz. Hasselback had words. Big deal! A cat fight between women is like blowing smoke in the wind. It can start with two women wearing the same dress at a party especially if one is fat and the other thin with no breasts. A good fight between women is cathartic and lots of fun. That fight is going nowhere. It won't matter in the scheme of anyone's life and will be forgotten before nightfall. Soon Bush will be gone and our country will return to its normal self to deal with its real problems of poisoned food from China, floods of illegal aliens and those caused by storms, the homeless, gang wars and deteriorating schools and roads. The billions we will save by getting out of Iraq can be used to take care of the Americans from whom the money was stolen. Doesn't the future look bright?

168. Im sorry Vivian, by laughing stock of the world, don't you really mean the leaders of the free world? I mean, nothing really gets done in this world unless we make it happen.

169. HEY THATS WHY YOU HAVE PRODUCERS, THEY PRODUCE A SHOW. THE PUBLIC WANTS TO SEE THE ACTION AND EXPRESSIONS ON THE FACES. WHAT ROSIE SAID HAS MEANING ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SEE ELISABETH'S EXPRESSION AND COMEBACK. I THINK THE SPLIT SCREEN IS GOOD, AND FAIR.

172. Honestly, I don't understand why Rosie has to take all the blame for that infamous arguement between her and Elisabeth. She wasn't the one who lost her composure but yet she's the one who's being painted as the bully for picking on poor, sweet Elisabeth. I and many of my friends won't even watch The View anymore because Rosie brought such an energy to the show that is going to be impossible to replace. Sure, she had strong opinions , but since when is that a bad thing? I thought she was refreshingly real after putting up with Star Jones for so many years! The View might land on it's feet after this mess dies down, but it sure won't get my support and I'm sure Rosie's career will do just fine in spite of it.

173. It was obvious to me that ever since Rosie said no more fighting with E., Elizabeth wouldn' t have it. She kept trying to draw Rosie in finally she did, and then let her have it.
I think she is way too immature, and she did all the yelling, not Rosie. Rosie left because she had it with always being drawn in to quarrels with E.

174. I have watched the view for the entirety of the series, and have to say I actually feel a real physical embarassment, including red cheeks , anytime I hear Elizabeth opening up her mouth about ANYTHING.
