Kathy Griffin Dishes on Rosie

16. I used to be a fan of Kathy Griffin's. Now that she has apparently become Rosie's shill, I have lost all respect for her.

Kathy, if you see these comments, understand you are making a big mistake in being used to speak on Rosie's behalf.

Did you, Kathy, actually hear the horrific things Rosie said about 9/11 and other issues? It's not that I'm particularly pro-Elisabeth, it's that I am particularly disgusted by Rosie.

How unfortunate to read this TMZ article on Memorial Day.

17. Rosie does have problems. Elizabeth has the right to speak her opinions also & just because she is a conservative & supports Bush, that does not make her stupid. That's the problem we're having in this country as nobody seems tolerant of other people's opingions. Look at the anger Rosie feel towards anyone who don't agree with her. I hope she finally realizes attacking & hating people is very destructive. She is not a happy person as she is now. The split screen made her this angry?

She praises Bush and says how hunky dorry everything is going in Iraq.....Do we need to refresh Elisabeths memory and let her know 100 troops have been killed since May 1st!!

If her daughter was of age now, I would ask her if she would encourage her daughter to be sent off to fight for her country!

20. I think the lasting negative impact from this year's run of The View goes on Barbara Walters, who went from scion of American TV journalists to an absolute joke. She had no control of her own show, got outed by Donald Trump on what she really thought of Rosie, and--putting the last nail in the "Barbara is a Joke" coffin--started babbling about being good friends with Kathy Hilton of all people, and about how wonderful Kathy is (when Kathy is trying to impress old Hollywood gals at the dinner table). Babs even used the show to stand in as Kathy Hilton's press agent for a little courtroom-outburst damage control. So long Walters, best you can do now (and what you're no doubt shooting for) is a Paris-post-jail sitdown interview. Any heads of state who talk to you should be laughed out of office.

26. Couldn't be happier that Rosie is gone from The View. It took too long for her to self-destruct! She had taken over the show and it was no longer enjoyable and easd much less informative. I agree that Barbara had no control of her own show. Rosie has evolved into such a sad case. She has lost her funny edge - and gone and gotten too political - and, even worse, she has a very mean edge. Hope she fades into the sunset. Suggest that she attend a good old-fashioned charm school.
