Lets Get This Party Started
Cameron's Commie Fashion Faux Pas

Actress Cameron Diaz committed a big no-no in Peru this past week. While exploring the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu, Cameron was spotted with an olive messenger bag emblazoned with a red star and one of Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong's favorite slogans, "Serve the People."

It seems Peru has a little history of problems with Communist insurgencies, (the Maoist group Shining Path terrorized Peru during the '80s and '90s) so Cameron's bag was a major faux pas. "It alludes to a concept that did so much damage to Peru, that brought about so many victims," human rights activist Pablo Rojas told the Daily News.

Tom Cruise Movie "Sure to be Crap"

The son of a German who tried to kill Adolf Hitler is pissed off that his father will be played by Tom Cruise in the upcoming movie "Valkyrie." Berthold Von Stauffenberg told a German newspaper that Cruise's devotion to Scientology is really "off-putting," and that he thinks the movie is "sure to be crap. I am not saying that Cruise is a bad actor -- I cannot judge that. But in any case, I fear that it could turn into horrible kitsch."

"He should keep his hands off my father," continued Von Stauffenberg. "He should climb a mountain or go surfing in the Caribbean. I don't care, as long as he stays out of it."

Pamela Anderson, Strip Club Owner?

It makes perfect sense: on a recent trip to Finland, perky-chested Pam Anderson came up with a great idea. People reports that Pam is looking into starting up a chain of strip clubs. Mama mammaries! "I'm going to look into opening a chain of strip clubs and I'll call them Lapland!!!!" writes Pam in her blog, in reference to the Finnish city of the same name.

Peta spokesperson Pammy also blogged about her fight to push a pro-animal agenda in Finland. "The demand is getting lower for fur coats and they breed foxes here just for fur. ... Sweden, Austria and England have banned fur farms. Let's hope Finland will too."

Party Favors...John Krasinski the new Chevy Chase?

"The Office's" John Krasinski has been fingered as the number one choice to play in the new "Fletch" movie. MTV News reports that Joshua Jackson, Jason Lee and Ryan Reynolds have also been considered for the part.

31. Pamela has no brain? Ha! You should be as smart as her. She's marketed herself quite intelligently and is a multi-millionaire. She also has a cause she donates time and money to, more than you can say about most people- LIKE YOU for example.

32. Leave it to Cameron "The Ditz" Diaz to use a hurtful bag in the name of Hollywood kitsch.
It's a shame that most Hollywood celebs walk around with their heads up their ass and clearly don't understand what's going on in the world outside Rodeo Drive.

34. Re: Cameron Diaz. Must we all start carrying protocol books when we step outside our doors? It seems you can't step outside your door without insulting somebody somewhere in todays world. What percentage of Americans would actually know they were committing such a serious error? Not many I suspect. I knew about Shining Path, but I certainly would not have known about their politics or the politics of Peru. Good Lord, it's hard enough keeping up with American politics. How in the heck would the average person know about the politics and customs/social mores of every country they visit? I think it was an honest mistake.

36. Animals have no voice, no choice. At least Pam is doing something for animals. Most stars couldn't care less about anything but their next movie, tv appearance...themselves. At least Pam speaks up for the rights of animals. For that she should be lauded, not slammed. It's a lot more than most do. Good for her.

37. Tom Cruise is a has been. He and his wacko antics and "superiority" complex have done him in. The Scientologist "church," however, still loves him because he's like milking a cow and giving pails and pails of money to the "cause." I'm sure they laugh all the way to the bank!

40. Pamela Andersson is an ignorant and arrogant racist bitch. How does she think the Sami people will react when she gives the name of their region, Lappland, to a bloody strip club at the same time as she disses their traditional use of reindeer skin?? How disrespectful!

Vincent D'onofrio!? That's Vince Vaughn extreme! He can't open a movie on his own..Liev Schreiber do we even know who he is? Oh wait I just asked my niece..He was in Scream 2 or 3..You are going to compare them to the world renowned Tom Cruise?..as for 'Interview with the Vampire'..The whole cast sucked! with the exception of Antonio and Kirsten..You can blame that one on Anne Rice for selling out to Hollywood!! Tom Cruise isn't my favorite actor but he is fearless and I like that about him!

45. Suomi: I don't recall Pam telling Sami people how to live or even mentioning Sami people or reindeer for that matter. I kind of suspect you are PMSing big time and are actually quite oblivious yourself. There was a mention of Lapland, yes, but if you read the item you will note she thought about starting a club called Lapland, which is a reference to lap dancing, not the actual Lappland...also, Pams ethnic background is Scandinavian, so to call her a 'racist' is kind of odd. Maybe a self hater would be more accurate if you are going in that direction? Arrogant and uninformed? Well, again, do you think anybody outside of Finland actually dwells daily on the lives of reindeer or these Sami people you mention?

Also, I've never heard Pamela Anderson referred to as a bitch by the press or anybody that has come into contact with her. She seems genuinely concerned about animals. That is her cause. She advocates for the anti fur people. I never heard her mention people should not wear reindeer...

Also, if anybody is undereducated about a particular culture I would state without hesitation that it would be you if you jump to the conclusion that anybody that argues you with you is a WalMart shopping, SUV driving, burger eater. You definitely need to do something about your hatred issues. It will eventually give you a heart attack, high blood pressure and all the other health issues associated with type A people that tend to concentrate their hatred towards people and issues they know nothing about instead of concentrating their time, thoughts, and efforts towards educating people on the issue they are so passionate about. In your case, perhaps a less hateful attitude and more pertinent info on the Sami people and reindeer (perhaps supply a link) would have educated and enlightened us, rather than made us assume you are just an unhappy person.
