91. To "just so you know"....


Obviously, you've never had an addiction problem. That's great for you!! But let me educate you a bit....
Getting over one addiction is hard enough. Talk to a rehab counselor. Or just watch "28 Days", w/ Sandra Bullock...it's pretty accurate.
One day at a time, & one addiction at a time!! I could NEVER have quit drinking if I didn't have the smokes & caffeine for 'comfort' when I said good-bye to my major crutch.

Thankfully, they are all out of my life now.
But it wasn't easy.

I'm not condoning her behavior, by any means. She should not be having a "break" from this pseudo-rehab place.

But the fact that she is still smoking, well, it's really not a bad thing, as long as she's trying to give up 'worse' stuff.

92. 99% of all rehabs let you smoke. It is actually not smart to try to work on every addiction at once. I work in a rehab and while smoking is a very difficult addiction to break, it is not illegal and she has the right to do it.

94. I used to work in a rehab facility, long time ago. Maybe things have changed, but back 30 years ago when people went to them for help with dependency, you didn't leave the floor for anything. Your time was spent evaluating your life, where you've been, where your life is going, not where you are going to tan, shop or eat.
I wish her luck, however, I have serious doubts. She seems to be choosing the wrong facilities and it appears more that she is using the "facility" as a measure to ease or help with future legal problems she is surely to face. GOOD LUCK LINS.

# 14 Lohan is hardly "suffering" lol. And the media is not responsible if she takes her own life! She wont though because she still thinks it's all cute and funny. The ultimate manipulator like her daddy. She is only in rehab to clean up her BS defense / story line.

98. Why is she leaving rehab to shop? What happened to the old days when stars went to the Betty Ford clinic and we didn't didn't see them until they got cleaned up? I'll tell you what, just send all these people to my house. They can live in my basement with the litterbox , the laundry, and a view of the dirt for a couple of months. We'll call it the "My Basement" center.

100. It would have been easy to assume you were being followed by people wanting to cause you harm in LA.
The woman being chased tried to do the right things to protect herself by not going into her home and going to a police station.
She did more then I would have done. Lindsay is wicked along with being addicted. Will take a lot of rehab to get through to her.

101. As someone who has went to rehab. It also worked for me. I was there 3 weeks. I had 2 days of detox. It was horrible. I also hated every minute, until I figured out duh, why I was there! We were allowed to smoke, but we went as a group outside every couple of hours. No caffeine, no sugar. I missed that more than I would have my smokes. No leaving. Visiting hours 1x a week. Pay phone that you had to have a friend or family buy you the cards. It totally sucked. But I have been 9 years clean. So it was worth it.

104. Sure, it would be wonderful if she could actually pull herself together and make rehab stick this time. But let's not lose sight of the fact that part of the motivation here is 'advance damage control' -- stuff her attorney can use to help get her out of the legal deep doody she's in -- demonstrating to the judge that she won't need a harsh sentence, because she has already voluntarily reformed herself.
