Prayer Vigil for Hogan Friend

An emotional prayer vigil was held yesterday in Clearwater, Fla. for John Graziano, the 22-year-old marine who was critically injured in Nick Hogan's car crash on Sunday night.

"He is still in very critical condition, but coming out little by little. He is in the ICU and we need people to continue to pray," said Ashley Berry, Graziano's girlfriend. Also in attendance, Graziano's sister Christian, who said, "We have complete faith that he is going to recover and be completely fine." No one from the Hogan family showed up at the vigil, but Ashley said they have been by Graziano's bedside since the accident.

Local defense attorney J. Kevin Hayslett has been hired by the Hogan family. TMZ contacted him today but he refused to comment on the investigation.

The POLICE wont release his name to the PUBLIC.Now somekid has admited to driving the SILVER VIPER back to the scene but where did that VIPER go. before turning back to the scene. Why did the HOGANS rush out to obtain a fancy highpower LAWYER. You see it isn't ONLY about NICKY boy race driving RECORD N CRASHES. that alone there's no explaining. This about why everyone trying so hard to not make PUBLIC who was racing in the SILVER VIPER. AGAINST NICK. If it wasnt Hulk Hogans VIPER ..WOULDNT you want to know who was the other DRIVER. Who would be considered an accesory to the crash.or could have been contribute to the crash. What if that was NICK and John G was driving. Wouldnt you want to know who was RACING agaisnt him.?????

62. #12 by RW does bring up some good points- it would be a wise thing for mom and dad to take away their little speed demons wheels, he shouldn't be driving , he is clearly irresponsible. I hope John gets better .

64. The 'poor Nick' posts would be funny, if it weren't such a serious situation. Hello? This is about lives, not simply smashed cars.

If you tell me he didn't know he was breaking the law and didn't understand excessive speeding (ie racing) on public roads is dangerous or was forced into excessive speeding at gun point, etc I might feel bad for him. If not, I will not feel sorry for him. Why should I? It was his choice, so he has to accept responsibility, which includes the consequences.

If he (or anyone, including John) has the 'need for speed', he can get his thrills on a track. That's what my FIL does, he wouldn't dream of doing it anywhere else. There is no excuse for endangering the public. It was luck, not skill, that kept the public safe.

Youth is not an excuse either, he's not a child, he's a young man. The overwhelming majority of people (including teens) don't have even one excessive speeding ticket, let alone multiple warnings and tickets for it. However, the few who might, deserve the very same outcry.

I bet none of you would be so understanding if you or a loved one are ever killed by someone so careless. Repeated carelessness, even!

65. I should add, I don't *hate* Nick, but it probably comes off that way. I simply don't feel sorry for him, just because the outcome he knew could happen...happened. The majority of us don't need a near death or actual death to accept it's dangerous. It sucks that he wasn't one of us, but he knows now and others should learn from it. There's a time and place for it (track), never on public streets.

66. If Nick's a minor...Doesn't that make his PARENTS responsible for his actions. Hulk better hope he had about 10 million in Insurance to cover this one...

67. I'm praying for you John, you seem like a good dude.

Nick, you little punk ass. Hope this brings you back down to earth you irresponsible little rich boy turd. You can send a soldier to Iraq two damn times but put him in a car with Nick Hogan and look what happens. Terry and Linda you need to put this kid in check. Shoot, I'd be hoping I was in his place if I had to face my parents in a situation like this.

68. Who cares if his passenger 'wanted to' or not.

Did the people on the road they endangered 'want to'? He's just lucky it was a 1 car accident.

Yes, kids do dumb things, but most don't choose activities that endanger people's lives.

69. To Firehawk and Shelwaa or whatever the heck your name is....are you crazy? Do you not get it? Nick Bollea is not anyone to feel sorry for. He is 17, and at 18 you are legally an adult. With his record he should be treated as an adult if it ever goes to the courts, which it probably won't. I find that sad as if it were your kid, you know damn well it would go to court and there would probably be a conviction. But with Nick's fathers money it will be swept away. I am not impressed with any of the Bolleas. Why any network would waste time or money on these stupid reality shows I will never understand. They are do stupid...so obviously phony...yet they are there. The Bolleas as parents are incredibly stupid. Their kids, incredibly ignorant and I don't say this to be mean...that is how they all come off as ignorant. I do hope that the Florida justice system does not let the people of Florida down, like the California justice system has in the cases of these celeb rugrats. I feel sorry for the family of John. If he encouraged Nick to drive faster is not the problem. The problem is a 17 year old who has clearly been out of control for most if not all of his short life. He has put one person in the hospital...what will it take for you to understand what the real problem is? When he puts someone in a grave? Forget blaming the lawyers, that's what they get paid for. Put the blame where it belongs...on the negligent parents on Nick and the cops who let his ass go.

71. I am really getting tired of al the bickering, right now, the most important thing is for everyone to be pray for John's recovery. The Hogans made sure he had the best doctors and I am sure they are paying for it all, after all, John was like a part of there family and I am sure they feel aweful about everything too. I am not sticking up for Nick, but face it people, if you have not been in his shoes you have no idea. Come on, and don't say not one of you haven't done this, we all have common sense, and we all have said, after the fact, use your head but at the time of the accident I am sure they were being typical boys, the need for speed, adrenalin starts running, and then you suffer the consiquences. Nick did not intend for the accident to happen, no one exspects something like that, I am sure he didn't say, "hey john lets go race and wreck the car", yes it was Nick who was driving, yes an accident happened, was it intended, no. I am sure Nick will be paying for it, but they are still investigating, and I am sure he has learned his lesson about speeding, after all this was his best friend and I know he feels bad. So lay off Nick, he will have to pay somewhere down the line, but lets get John better first.

72. NIck... you ass...I watch you on Nopivision and see that there to you wreck the cars that you drive. Seems like you and the cement barriers are not friends. Drifting and Drag racing are for the tracks not for the streets, but I forget you just a child. A 17 year old, givene everything you wanted, uncontrolable child. You should be hit with the fullest extent of the law, but off course celebs and their family live a life of privalege and usually get off with what the comon Joe would have to do time for. Well I am parying for your friend to get better because and soldier that defends our freedoms and risks his life day in and day out for asses like you and survives the gun fire from enemy lands should not have to come back to the US and be killed by an ass like you. If he dies.... you should rot in jail.

73. Interestingly enough, I have not read much on the basic fact the passenger...who IS seriously injured....was in that car willingly. Don't think he wasn't enjoying himself too. Thought it was having fun with a close and beloved friend doing what young men do sometimes. My guess is that these 2 young men are very, good friends and the Hogan boy is MUCH more worried about his friend than any charges.

We lost a very close friend earlier this year to an auto accident. This same young man was in a similar situation to this one 5 yrs before his own death. Ironically, he and his own best friend were drunk and driving home anyway...crashed and passenger (best friend) died. Our friend was so sad he had to be on suicide watch as he constantly quoted, "it should have been me". He never recovered emotionally before his own untimely death.

I believe since Hogans are at bedside, situation between families is the same. Our dear friend is buried next to his dead best friend in THEIR family graveyard (we are in the country). neither family is suing one another. Talk about a sad funeral!!! Worse than my own dad's because I had to watch two of my best friends cry over 2 graves of their sons. So sad, but we have all been friends for nearly 30 years (in our 40's)...so what do we do? Hate each other? Don't think so.

Let's simply keep both families in our rememberance for now.
