Prayer Vigil for Hogan Friend

An emotional prayer vigil was held yesterday in Clearwater, Fla. for John Graziano, the 22-year-old marine who was critically injured in Nick Hogan's car crash on Sunday night.

"He is still in very critical condition, but coming out little by little. He is in the ICU and we need people to continue to pray," said Ashley Berry, Graziano's girlfriend. Also in attendance, Graziano's sister Christian, who said, "We have complete faith that he is going to recover and be completely fine." No one from the Hogan family showed up at the vigil, but Ashley said they have been by Graziano's bedside since the accident.

Local defense attorney J. Kevin Hayslett has been hired by the Hogan family. TMZ contacted him today but he refused to comment on the investigation.

76. I've read your tired comments about casting the first stone. Cute, to say the least. Sorry, but this kid is WAY out of the norm. Not even close! The key here is the difference in Hogan's speed compared with the speed limit. This kid is no ordinary speeder. This kid is some kind of psychotic driver. At the very least, the Dept. of Motor Vehicles of the State of Florida should suspend his drivers license. Bollea needs some time out here to talk to a mental health professional.

77. #41.....How old are you??? Cause you just said I should have been in the car with Nick!?! Lord bless you. An adult wouldn't wish that on anyone so I guess that would make you around a 10 year old??? Be careful what you wish for! And if I were you (THANK GOD I'M NOT) I would be afraid that I might have just jinxed myself for saying something so evil! Poor Poor Miss Scanky! I'll pray for you child!

78. There is no law against poor parenting. Teenagers make poor decisions. This stuff all happens.

The law and law enforcement exist to protect citizens from crime and/or from actions resulting in harm to citizens. The law enforcement community has a legal obligation to protect its citizens. The law enforcement community in Florida failed to protect its citizens, and as a result a young man is critically injured.

Nick got three tickets, two over 100 mph. He got away with at least one more 100 mph pull over per TMZ. Complete failure by Florida law enforcement!

Forget about Hogan's poor parenting. That's not illegal, unfortunately. Throw the book at all the various members of the law inforcement community who failed to Protect and Serve, including any judge!

79. I'm sad to see that some of you people still don't get it. This was no accident! Nick made a CHOICE to drive over 100mph! And was unable to control the car. If he had been driving the speed limit and there was an unexpected obstruction on the road and he crashed, THAT would have been an accident. If I have a loaded gun, point it at someone and it goes off, is that an accident? Please!
If at 17 he's old enough to drive a weapon he's old enough to face the consequences!
And so what that he's been at this kids bedside, that's the least he can do don't you think?
So stop making excuses for this moron.
And to the lady that's worried about her 2 sons speeding all the time and how we are so harsh with Nick, I bet you wouldn't be so forgiving if one of your son's would have been in the car with Nick.
Give me a BREAK!

81. I often wish my life was blemish free and that I had the extensive legal expertise of so many people who have posted comments on here so I to could pass judgement and slander others anonymously. However, I have neither the legal background nor the life of morality to do such, so I wish the best for Mr. Graziano and hope that Mr. Hogan will truly live and learn from this experience.

84. Yes, everyone makes mistakes and nobody is perfect.

But here we have a clear case of someone who abused their freedom too many times and was not punished.

You have the freedom to do what you want as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others. Obviously the driver had no regard for the safety of others. If it was not malicious, it was thoughtless.

This goes for any of those crazy drivers out there (and there are tons of them!). There are many people who do not realize they are taking their own life and the lives of others into their hands every time they get behind the wheel.

I know many people who don't understand the need for things like following distance, speed limits, etc. They think it doesn't apply to them because they have the 'skill' to go faster, drive closer. But we drive with people of all kinds of skill on the streets, and anything can happen on the streets. Too drive too close or too fast is to give no room for error. And that's not safe or realistic. Even when people are careful things can go wrong, which is even more of a reason why risky driving is inexcusable.

I hope that other people, especially the ones criticizing, take this tragedy as an example.

The sad thing is that drivers who are careless so often get to be the one that 'learns the lesson' while someone else has to pay the price for that lesson.

85. #77- Either you are seriously bored and have no life (to waste your time pointing out that I mispelled a word....) or you are Misscranky and just changed your name to say something that stupid without letting on it was you....I'm betting you are Missstanky, right?

86. I think everyone needs to shut up, you all do not know what really happened that day. I am so tired of hearing about who should get what and so on. Grow up, everyone always makes mistakes. We should be thinking about John he is the one who is hurt and we should all just stop and pray for him. I am so tired of this garbage. Everyone will get what they deserved. PRAY FOR JOHN, HE IS HURTING IN THIS MATTER. WE ALL NEED TO BE FOCUSING ON THAT, AND WORRY ABOUT WHO SHOULD GET WHAT LATER.

And as to me not having a life...look who keeps checking in to see if I reply. Not much busy yourself are ya?

88. Have any one of you met Nick, John, or anyone involved? Are any one of you friends of theirs? NO you havent and your not!!! So all of your comments don't matter to anyone except to yourselves. I know the people involved any you all need to back off. You weren't there, you weren't in the car, you don't know they were racing, or even where they were headed. All of you people wouldn't care about the driver being punished if it wasn't a celeb. So everyone of you should mind your own business and let these families be and be there for John (you know the one in the hospital in case you forgot by worrying about who was driving what) Let the police handle this and stay out of it unless you were there!!! My prayers go out to John, his family, Ashley, and friends. I know he will pull through this, he's too loved not to. God bless!!
