Prayer Vigil for Hogan Friend

An emotional prayer vigil was held yesterday in Clearwater, Fla. for John Graziano, the 22-year-old marine who was critically injured in Nick Hogan's car crash on Sunday night.

"He is still in very critical condition, but coming out little by little. He is in the ICU and we need people to continue to pray," said Ashley Berry, Graziano's girlfriend. Also in attendance, Graziano's sister Christian, who said, "We have complete faith that he is going to recover and be completely fine." No one from the Hogan family showed up at the vigil, but Ashley said they have been by Graziano's bedside since the accident.

Local defense attorney J. Kevin Hayslett has been hired by the Hogan family. TMZ contacted him today but he refused to comment on the investigation.

92. Mind our own business!???? This idiot kid is a dangerous public nuisance and should be put behind bars to insure the safety of us taxpayers that use the roads responsibly. He should have been taken off the road long ago. This flunkie should be in the military where he can learn form some positive role models about how to be a man.

93. I keep reading 'people make mistakes'

Yes, they do, but most do it while doing normal things, not driving 2x the speed limit. (which may not be the case, but seems likely given his past)

I guess this shows you, if driving on regular streets gives you a thrill, chances are you are doing something to put people at risk, which you have no right to do.

I hope the young man in the hospital makes a recovery.

94. we keep talking about Nick as "the kid, the boy". He's 17!!!! He's old enough to know what he's doing, or he should. At 17 I was working and getting ready to go to college. At 18 I was taking the bus and train to go to class. Being an irresponsible idiot should never be an excuse. It's obvious his parents were enabling him. I can't stand arrogant, narcissistic people who think they can get away with everything, including endangering others people's lives. One word: jail. That will teach you responsibility and accountabiliy for your decisions and actions.

95. This accident was a tragedy and it is devastating to see all the negative comments being left on this forum. Neither family needs to hear these nasty comments. Accidents happen all the time and at times like this, people need to pull together and offer positive support. Despite the Hogan (Bollea) family's celebrity status, they are still human beings and do not deserve all this negativity ! I drive a Toyota Supra and understand the bond between owner and car and yes, I, too, have been known to accelerate on occasion. For those of you who do not understand this, its a lifestyle ! Personally, I would never allow a 17 year old to drive a modified Supra but I am not God. Therefore I do not judge. What these families need right now is everyone's prayers and positive support. Nick...don't allow these negative comments to get you down. Only God can judge...

96. SupraDriver, are you saying it's a lifestyle to regularly ignore the safety of other drivers/pedestrians for your 'lifestyle'?

Or are you talking about owning cars and racing responsibly (on a track)?

Accidents and mistakes happen enough when people are trying to follow the rules.

Recently John Singleton killed a pedestrian and he was cleared of any wrongdoing.

That's one reason many people don't go for thrills on the road. If something happens, they don't want to know that they didn't do everything in their power to be safe.

97. Iam so very sorry what a lesson to have to learn. I feel for all of you . Iam sure Nick never meant this to happen. His friend John whom iam sure knew Nick,s driving ways still chose to ride with him. Poor judgement on all of those involved in this accident. I know all of these folks hearts are very heavy. I say we pray for all of them. Please lets pray for a good outcome for John and Nick. We all should think how both sides feel and iam sure both sides feel really horrible. Iam sure thier hearts are very heavy and lots of sleep is being lost. God Be With All Of Them.

98. Can anyone say LANE GARRISON. Lane pled guilty to killing someone while drunk driving. But he still isn’t doing hard time. They have him in a cell doing a 90 evaluation to see if he can be let out on probation. As much as Nick Bollea deserves to got to jail for this he will get the best celebrity justice that his daddies money can buy. The JOKE is on the average person who without access to MILLIONS of dollars cant get the same justice as the rich and famous do.

101. Why aren't the details of his injuries being released? This all seems like it's to protect the Hogans. If this young man has serious brain damage, isn't it the same as if he killed him?

Why are people defending the Hogans? Every time somebody has a criticism they are being labeled as "jealous". Come on! Is that the best you've got? Apparently so, because it's being said, over and over. Sorry to say, this has absolutely nothing to do with jealousy. I know you have no good excuses for his actions, so you keep throwing that word out there and insulting those of us who aren't rich. That's so very pathetic and lame. Some of you people really need to get a clue and get over yourselves. Sorry to break it to you materialistic losers, money is not everything.

All of the money in the world won't fix this young man's broken body. The most ignorant and despicable of you all are those of you who are trying to shift equal blame to the victim or to say that he could have just as easily done this to Nick. This man is a war hero and he very likely will never get his life back. Not one of you have the grounds to be making assumptions that he was perfectly comfortable with the way Nick was driving, or that he was encouraging him. You should be completely ashamed for making such wreckless comments.

Pray for this young man and his family. Without question, since the moment this happened, their lives have become a living hell.
